I started going to Rise Up Chiropractic because my husband started going. I have structural damage to my spine from an accident and a couple fused vertebrae from birth. I didn’t think there was a lot that could be done to help, and just tried to manage the neck and shoulder pain with occasional massages when it got severe. My husband had a recent injury that needed treatment  so, after talking to Dr. Shanna Jackson, we decided to see if I could be helped as well. It’s been about 8 months and it’s helped much more than I could hope for already. Although it’s gradual, I have less restrictions and more movement in my neck than I have had in years. Dr. Jackson has done amazing work on my upper cervical pain, giving my neck, shoulders and upper back the relief I have searched years to find, and avoiding surgery others suggested. I continue to see her weekly, to keep that area aligned, but additionally continuing care with her to get the entire spine where it needs to be. I've been a customer for almost a year now. Her establishment is clean, and invokes a soothing atmosphere, making me always looking forward to being able to totally relax after my treatment, even if only for 15 minutes. Sometimes, that's the only relaxation I get in a day. I can't imagine going to anyone else, and highly recommend her. I also LOVE that she also treats dogs! I have been experiencing neck pain and vertigo/dizziness off and on for nearly 10 years, making several trips to chiropractors over the years for help. When googling about neck pain, I came upon a site on Instagram about upper cervical chiropractic care. Researched and found Rise Up Chiropractic near me. And I am so grateful I did.  Dr. Shanna Jackson is amazing!!

After taking images and an initial evaluation, Dr. Shanna put together a treatment plan for me.  I’m amazed how my neck is feeling after only four adjustments. No pain/stiffness/dizziness when waking up in the morning.  Dr. Shanna takes the time to explain her procedures and the treatment.  So happy, no more cracking my neck!!  She listens to every concern, ache, and hurt you want to discuss.

The office is very clean and comfortable. She and her staff are so kind and welcoming.  It is truly a blessing I have found her practice and am very excited about seeing my continuing progress with Dr. Shanna.

Our dachshund dog started showing signs of IVDD about 3 months ago- weakness in back legs, and stumbling. Since we have had a couple of dogs with this in the past we knew how heartbreaking and expensive this can be. We decided to try chiropractic as one of the treatment tools. Dr. Shanna’s treatments for our pup have brought him back to nearly full function. We are now just maintaining with monthly adjustments and he is back to his energetic self! They are absolutely incredible at what they do. Have been on a treatment plan with them. I was skeptical at first and decided to trust the process and thank goodness I did! I suddenly from no where started having dizziness symptoms and becoming unbalanced.  I was also having eye symptoms that would occur suddenly after looking down and back up. I couldn’t focus.  I had to close my eyes and move my head around to make it go away. I did some research and found out what was causing it. It was my Upper Cervical misalignment.  I found this wonderful person Dr. Shanna Jackson who explained to me what was going on. I have been treated by her and still am and I’m amazed how her adjustment to my upper cervical has made a tremendous difference. I came to see Dr. Jackson after hearing about her from another friend. I’ve spent five years fighting chronic, undiagnosed illness that caused extreme muscle weakness, hair loss, energy and memory loss, adrenal failure, crazy inflammation, hormone hikes, and weight gain so rapid I gained 60 lbs in 4 months- and it kept going in spite of every effort. Previously I was in excellent shape and ate clean.
The 1st adjustment was one week ago. Immediately things shifted for me. I’ve lost 5 lbs in 7 days. I haven’t lost weight like that since before I was sick- typically gained that way but not lost. The rest of the day I kept taking deep breaths- it’s like my body had been starved for air and couldn’t get enough of it. My energy feels “through the roof” I no longer need afternoon naps. My fingers no longer swell after walking. I went through a stressful day and my hair didn’t fall out and I didn’t gain weight. I can think more clearly. I have hope, I feel stronger, I’m sleeping better, not constantly drained. No more sleep apnea issues. I walk straighter. My nervous system feels calm. I feel like the woman in Proverbs 31:25. Shannon is the best!  Second upper cervical adjustment and I could feel my neck and shoulders relax.
I have never had a chiro so in tune to you. She asks lots of questions and genuinely cares.  Highly recommend!
